Steve & Debra Thompson - Owners
Steve and Debbie are the dynamic team at the heart of our business, wearing many hats to keep things running smoothly. Steve is the company’s driving force and perfectionist, always ready to help wherever needed, from assisting customers and remodeling the store to handling maintenance. Outside of work, he enjoys taking his hot rod to car shows, supporting local fundraisers, spending summers on the lake, and escaping North Idaho winters in Mexico.
Debbie keeps the business grounded as bookkeeper, banker, supply shopper, and a welcoming face in the store. She is devoted to her family, faith, church, and 20+ grandchildren, and she loves North Idaho summers on the pontoon boat and traveling whenever she can.
Luke
Luke is a designer who puts people first. At Hayden Furniture Depot, he combines a customer-first philosophy with a strong focus on custom upholstery, interior design, and thoughtfully curated spaces. His work spans a range of high-end residential and commercial projects, blending comfort, functionality, and refined design.
Whether he is coordinating a custom furniture piece or helping shape a larger interior vision, Luke brings a strong eye for texture, balance, and detail to every project. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his two daughters and embracing North Idaho lake life through kayaking and fishing.
Nicole
Nicole is a certified interior decorator with more than a decade of experience creating intentional, welcoming spaces for residential and commercial clients. Her passion for design began early and grew into a career centered around helping people create homes that feel both beautiful and deeply personal.
As a proud military wife, mother of three, and person of strong faith, Nicole believes a home should be more than simply well-designed. It should feel like a place of comfort, connection, and restoration. Her thoughtful approach to design is rooted in understanding each client’s lifestyle, needs, and vision for their space.
Jesse
Jesse enjoys helping customers create spaces that feel comfortable, functional, and built for everyday living. With an appreciation for quality craftsmanship and practical design, he focuses on helping people navigate furniture decisions in a way that feels approachable and straightforward.
Whether assisting with room layouts, furniture coordination, or product selection, Jesse values honest guidance and helping customers feel confident in the pieces they bring into their home.
Ryan
Ryan is a husband, father of three daughters, and someone who values faith, family, and hard work above all else. His passion for craftsmanship and restoration is reflected in the way he approaches both life and his work, with a deep appreciation for quality materials, thoughtful design, and furniture built to last.
He finds fulfillment in hands-on projects, home improvement, and restoring vintage pieces with care and attention to detail. Whether helping customers explore furniture options or working on creative projects outside of the showroom, Ryan brings a grounded, customer-focused approach centered on honesty and long-term value.
Tessa
Tessa wears a few hats around Hayden Furniture Depot as a family member, sales associate, and certified interior decorator. She genuinely loves helping customers create spaces that feel comfortable, personal, and thoughtfully put together, with a strong attention to the details that turn a good room into a great one.
She prides herself on making the furniture buying process feel seamless, approachable, and stress-free from start to finish. Her favorite part of the job is helping customers leave feeling excited, confident, and truly at home in their space.
Tessa’s faith in God is the foundation of everything she does. Outside of the showroom, she enjoys spending time with family and taking in everything the Inland Northwest has to offer.
